Recently, TBEA sunoasis TC3125KFT inverters successfully passed the grid-related performance tests for Shanbei-Wuhan ±800 kV UHVDC Power Transmission Project, such as frequency and voltage withstand tests, low voltage ride-through test, high voltage ride-through test, continuous high and low voltage ride-through tests, etc., and helped Zhuocan PV Power Station pass the grid-related performance tests. TBEA sunoasis successfully completed in 4 days all the grid-related performance tests of the centralized inverters, which have the largest capacity in the project.
The project is included in the key projects for the national 13th Five-Year Plan, and its operation will be of great significance to achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, promoting the large-scale power transmission from the energy base in northern Shaanxi. The project has a large line length of 1137 km, and may have problems such as low grid-related performance of new energy stations in the sending end area, and thus has more stringent requirements for inverter performance.
In these past tests, the TBEA sunoasis inverters successfully passed the ADPSS full-digital simulation and semi-physical simulation in the early stage in accordance with the Shaanxi Power Grid Work Plan for Optimization of Grid-related Performance of New Energy Stations (Trial) issued by Shaanxi Power Dispatch Center, and passed the frequency and voltage withstand tests, low voltage ride-through test, high voltage ride-through test, continuous high and low voltage ride-through tests, etc. for the project, demonstrating TBEA’s technical capacity to meet the power grid requirements.
Along with the development of new power systems mainly based on new energy, TBEA sunoasis will integrate digital technology and power electronics technology, continuously carry out technological innovation, promote the transformation of power industry to cleanness and low-carbon, and help achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals
